The device itself worked once. The instructions with the "kit" are minimal. There is a urine bag without instructions. This is a kit sold OTC, and it is for consumers, not medical staff. There are no instructions for a principal part that must be used to fulfill the purpose of the kit. So, does one install all of the tubing? How do you unclip the tubing so you can empty the urine? How do you wash the bag? Must the tubing interior also be washed, or why not? Where is the best place to attach the tubing to one's leg (top or outside), and why is the attachment piece's adhesive not waterproof? If you must move while wearing the device, do you have to start the installation instructions from scratch? What to do about turning over to sleep on one's side? The vacuum was broken by rolling over and also by trying to get to the bathroom! I don't see how I'd get any sleep at all if I couldn't move. That the manufacturer had advice available is sad, because you have to make an appointment to have questions answered, or try to find some wisdom in their YouTube offerings.
Absolute junk. Used this for an elderly parent. Followed instructions to the letter, but it didn't work at all and left a mess. Very disappointing, particularly given the cost.
As of today, I have not tried Unicap, because I’m waiting to visit my Urologist on the 24 of this month .
I returned it completely without opening because looking at directions it was way to complicated I am 75 years old and live alone and this is not what I thought my dr ordered waiting for my refund I am on fixed income
